Hey,

'A Glossary of Literary Terms" by M. H. Abrams will do a lot of help as it is a perfect book to get your concepts clear in terms of literary devices.

grammer book

my english is not good. i make a lot of grammatical mistakes while writing. in topics such as - subject verb agreement, conditionals, modals, relative pronoun, prepositionetc. i get really confused. can anyone suggest me a good grammer book..

A book club recently assigned this book for our monthly group. One person used the word satire to describe the writing style.
I suggested Smut, how about propaganda? Smart -Alec juvenile ramblings, Any opinions?
A perfect example of how not to write!! Agree?

Book help

Hi,
I looking for a best book on literary terms and devices that we find in words of literature. I need to buy and I want the one that is simple to understand and has multiple simple examples i can understand when I read that book. I taking literature in the college and I think I need to know these devices and how to apply them or identify how they are used in the text. Can you help me which book is the best for me, please? This site is a good site and has some recommended books on this topic abut is want a print--book as handy. Please give me suggestions. Thanks.
