Neaaarllly....not quite tho...

Yes I understand where you are coming from but with oxymoron's you are meant to take the two words as having separate meanings, not one meaning together.
Pretty on it's own in the correct context means attractive, as the word pretty is never used just to say 'very'. If using the word 'pretty' as 'very' then 'pretty' need to be followed by a describing word. EG. To describe something as disgusting using 'pretty' you need to say pretty gross. You can't just say how ugly is that dog? And someone replies "Pretty" meaning very. DOESN'T WORK.

Not true

Pretty is the opposite of ugly, so it is oxymoron. Another example: Awfully good

Not true

Pretty, in this case, means "sort of", not "beautiful", so it isn't an oxymoron.

N O

that person is right, "awfully" is another example, u just priced yourself wrong because, (it is popular in the way british people speak) using the word awfully means very because the word has a double meaning

this is wrong

An oxymoron would not be what you put for your first example. Some examples of oxymorons are:
jumbo shrimp
airplane food
pretty ugly
military intelligence
